Description: Fr. Thomas Madanu as assistant at Nagepally started mission work at Chellawada, an interior village, in Gadchiroli District, 132 kms away from Bishop's Home, in 1982. He constructed the church cum presbytery in 1984 at Chellawada. Most of the inhabitants are migrants from neighbouring Andhra Pradesh who came in search of land. Chellawada mission was looked after from Nagepally for many years. Fr. Thomas Madanu purchased a plot of land at Repanpally on Allapally - Sironcha road in 1993. He was appointed as the first resident priest-in - charge at Repanpally on 10 April 1996 and the substations at Chellawada and Marneli are being looked after from here. The SABS Sisters have started their convent at Repanpalli in 1998. They are actively engaged in various parish activities
