My Lord and my God (John 20:28) is the confession of faith of St. Thomas the Apostle, the heavenly patron of Chanda Diocese. Rooted in the divine word in the splendour of the Cross which is the symbol of redemption of the world by Christ, every missionary in Chanda is invited to proclaim the Good News to all people irrespective of caste, creed, colour, language and ethnic origin (Mathew 28:19-20). Plough and Corn on either side represent the people of Chanda, who are mainly farmers. Dove represents Holy Spirit who is the guide and source of every missionary activity. Following the great examples of St. Thomas the Apostle, with deep faith in Christ, every missionary and faithful in Chanda offer themselves to witness Christ's message by word and deed
